Laura grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has fond appreciation for much of the dairy state’s offerings: cheese, brats, beer, lakes, and four seasons. She received her Bachelors in Conservation Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona. Between degrees, Laura volunteered for the Peace Corps in Honduras.
Of the many projects she has completed over the past 16 years, Laura gets the most personal satisfaction from her transportation work; from interstate highway projects, to Complete Streets and multi-use paths. She enjoys collaborating with multi-disciplinary design teams, problem solving, incorporating sustainability, and interaction with the public. Through these projects, she helps make her community a better place for all.
In her free time, Laura enjoys camping and beach vacations with her family and friends.

Chelsea grew up in California, with her family moving several times to towns, like Santa Rosa and Petaluma in the north, and Ramona in the south.
Her interest in plants and architecture goes back to childhood. She's not sure what exactly triggered her love for design but she enjoys the meeting of creativity and problem solving found in landscape architecture.
Since her first backpack in the Grand Canyon ten years ago she has explored many beautiful places in Arizona. Extensive hiking in the Sonoran Desert gives a solid grounding for designing in our unique climate.
