This time of year you will find large patches of weeds in backyards, roadsides, vacant lots, and pretty much anywhere else they can sprout. Removing weeds before they flower is important. One of the weeds that is seen across our region is Buffelgrass. It is especially problematic because it is an aggressive, invasive plant that creates a fire hazard and chokes out native plants.
